Open the door to the wonders of the world
Paestum, also known as Pesto, is an ancient city of Magna Graecia. Long and wide beaches divide the Cilento sea with extensive pine forests. Dominated by the presence of the temples, the archaeological area of Paestum is recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site.
Inserted in 1998 in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The territory has some uncommon animal and plant species and therefore subject to particular forms of protection and conservation. In the seabed the coral and the wide grasslands of Posidonia oceanica meet.
Agropoli is surmounted by the historic center which preserves the circuit of the defensive walls with the seventeenth-century entrance portal. Within the numerous streets, there are shops, bars and clubs that serve local dishes or the agropolese pizza served in a wicker basket.
With its pristine coastline, Palinuro offers the visitor enchanting beaches, small coves and sea caves that represent the treasure of this place. From the naturalistic point of view, among the Mediterranean scrub, myrtle, broom and heather bushes.
